You may not know it yet, but you are blessed to be a part of Veritas.
We just do the next thing that needs done. The next step that needs taken. The next job that no one else has done yet. We step in and just do life together. Then you have this moment where you open your eyes and really look around you. You are that you are in the midst of this amazing thing that God has strategically planned and pieced together. You are a part of something bigger than yourself. You are allowing God to use you to bless others around you.
I had this moment about 3 weeks ago while talking to a new mom interested in joining Veritas. Veritas is awesome! Imean i know i love Veritas... but it's awesome. We have something that no one else in our area has! What a great opportunity our children have! Veritas has grown into this place where kids have amazing opportunities, they can play, and make friends and be safe, and hear that God loves them.
I do point all glory and honor back to Jesus. I do my work as unto the Lord. I do have dreams and plans, but they are not mine. Those were given to me by our Loving God because I said "I'll do it. I'll teach it. I'll clean it. I'll stay late. I'll go the extra mile. Use me Lord, I'm willing! " and He has! It is not in my strength. The Lord has me on this incredible journey with Him. I get to partner with Him. Follow Him. Love Him. Serve Him. Hear Him.
I get the honor of doing the thing the Lord has called me to do.
The blessings come when you trust the Lord. When you have faith it blesses God. You! You bless God! What an incredible thought.
I didn't go to bed one night and wake up in this place. It has been a daily journey. It's a daily walk with Him. It grows into what He makes.
I've actually had an incredible week with God. Huge breakthrough! But the devil throws his fits when God is moving. The devil is trying to bring me down, and it will not work. Even as God is moving and working, the devil doesn't stop trying to kill, steal, and destroy us. It isn't easy. It does hurt. But my God is bigger and I will stand fast.
I'm so thankful to be on this journey with you all. I love you.
